BiTel Knoll:

Drill Target One

» Click on image to enlarge

After hand stripping and cleaning the BiTel Knoll outcrop is rock chip -channel sampled along Rock Saw cuts and the quartz veins and host granite mapped in detail. In RIRGD mineralization models, this outcrop is a typical style of low grade , bulk tonnage, open pit mine gold target found at the apex or flanks of the granitic body hosting the swarms of quartz veins and veinlets.

Rock Saw Channel Sampling at BiTel Knoll mineralization in Bunker Hill intrusive at the apex or cupola of the roof of the granitic body hosting swarms and multiple gold + bismuth + tellurium bearing quartz veins at surface. A priority 2009 diamond drill hole target as SGH soil geochemistry is also anomalous both up and down slope from this photo area.

Adit Bunker Hill Mine:

Drill Target One

Bunker Hill Mine area entrance to Level One built in about 1899-2000. This uppermost in elevation level was driven east towards the Bunker Hill granitic body contact. Gold bearing Quartz Veins encountered in the adit lie within the RIRGD model hornfelse aureole along the shoulders of the host granite. The area has never been Diamond Drilled and is a priority target.

Bunker Hill Mine Level One entrance in Background upper left. In 2008 hand stripping exposed this quartz vein on both walls. This vein was systematically chipped sampled across and along strike. The massive quartz vein is not hosted by the Bunker Hill granitic body but it contains gold + tellurium + bismuth values typical of RIRGD veins found within the contact hornfelse aereole.

Quartz Veins Bunker Hill Mine Area:

Drill Target One

North of Level One and Two adit entrances and along the treed slopes, a massive quartz vein has been exposed by hand stripping. It was extensively chipped sampled as shown this photo. The vein has never been drilled but diagnostic contents of gold + bismuth + tellurium suggest RIRGD affinities. This outcrop contained the highest gold values collected on 2008.

The new 2008 work exposed this strong quartz vein upslope for many meters. It is hosted in the contact hornfelse aureole along the shoulder of the Bunker Hill granitic body. It is another undrilled  high priority Diamond Drill target for the Nox Fort RIRGD 2009 exploration program.

LEFEVRE SKARN NEW TRENCH CHANEL SAMPLE
The Lefevre Skarn area is a Priority Diamond Drill target in 2009. Extensive new sampling of buried mineralization adjacent to old 1940’s pits confirmed the presence of gold and minor tungsten in the contact zone of the Bunker Hill granitic body.

Extensive channel sampling and mapping of SKARN and VEIN mineralization at the Lefevre DRILL target where typical RIRGD skarn and hornfels are developed along the shoulders of the Bunker Hill granitic  body. In 2008 detailed sampling of skarn and associated cross cutting quartz and sulphide veins and veinlets was completed between the old pits and trenches dug in the 1940’s.

New 2008 Discovery of mineralized skarn outcrop in Lefevre area where conventional geochemical soil sampling showed the distinctive RIRGD signature of anomalous gold + tellurium + bismuth. After hand stripping of overburden detailed Rock Saw, channel rock chip sampling and mapping were completed on this 2009 priority Diamond Drill Target.
