The Company’s 6,984 hectare optioned NOX FORT Property is located 15 kilometers southwest of Salmo in the Kootenay district of British Columbia. Recorded historical gold production occurred from the Bunker Hill Mine area on the property between 1933 to 1943. Deposits with characteristics expressed by the Nox Fort Property are now recognized as Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold Systems (RIRGS). Deposit models of the RIRGS type are best known for mineral occurrences in the Tintina Gold Belt in Yukon and Central Alaska. One of the principal deposits in that gold belt is the large, low-grade open pit Fort Knox operating mine in Alaska, operated by Kinross Gold, which produced its 4,000,000th ounce of gold in 2007 and continues to be in production. Gold-Ore Resources’ Bjorkal Mine in Sweden has since 1988 produced 935,000 ounces and continues to produce 40,000 ounces per year is also a RIRG modeled deposit.
